One of Out in the Bay’s key initiatives is the No Labelz Housing Project, launched in 2022. This project provides safe, supportive tenancy for LGBTQIA+ youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Beyond offering secure accommodation, No Labelz delivers tailored support services to help residents build life skills and confidence, empowering them to transition into independent living.
Our tenants receive ongoing support in areas such as cooking, budgeting, mental health, and discrimination, with all tenants also offered counselling. By collaborating with other organisations, we ensure that each resident has access to the necessary resources for success. At No Labelz, we focus on creating a nurturing environment where young people can heal, grow, and prepare for a brighter future.
